Your data
Your GDPR rights
You are in control of your data. Most things you can do yourself in the app in seconds; for the rest, one email is enough.
01Your rights at a glance#
- Access — ask what data we hold about you and get a copy.
- Rectification — have wrong data corrected.
- Erasure — have your data deleted.
- Restriction — ask us to pause using your data while an issue is resolved.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to someone else where technically possible.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests (such as anonymous usage events).
- Withdraw consent — at any time, for anything based on consent (such as notification permission).
- Complain — to a data protection authority.
What we process and why is explained in the Privacy Policy.
02Do it yourself in the app#
| You want to… | In NoBuyBox |
|---|---|
| Get a copy of your boxes and history | Me → Export as CSV |
| Correct something | Edit the box, goal or setting directly — backups update automatically |
| Delete data from your phone | Me → Delete everything on this phone |
| Delete your account and backup | Me → Account → Delete account (details) |
| Object to usage events and crash reports | Me → Terms & Privacy → Anonymous usage events |
| Withdraw notification or photo permission | Your phone’s settings → Apps → NoBuyBox |
03Make a request by email#
For anything else — for example a copy of everything linked to your account — email nobuybox@monryte.com. It helps if you:
- write from the email address of your NoBuyBox account (if you have one);
- say which right you are using and what it concerns;
- note that anonymous usage events and crash reports are not linked to your account or email, so we usually cannot tell which are yours — switching them off in the app stops them.
Example: “Hello, under Article 15 GDPR I would like a copy of the personal data you hold about me. My NoBuyBox account email is …. Thank you.”
We may ask for more information if we need to confirm your identity — never more than necessary. We reply within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests, and we will tell you if so). It is free.
04Complaints#
Please contact us first — we would like the chance to put things right. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. In Romania: ANSPDCP, B-dul G-ral. Gheorghe Magheru 28-30, Sector 1, 010336 Bucharest, www.dataprotection.ro. A list of all EU authorities is on the EDPB website.
